Mr. Speaker, I am not sure about that. As I understand it, that can only happen if the motion receives unanimous consent. I am not sure it can be done with a motion that is subject to a recorded division. I will find out, and we can talk about it outside.

Personally, I think it is an important tool if there is unanimous consent, but I do not really think a normal vote is appropriate in such cases.

Monsieur le Président, je ne suis pas certain de cela. J'avais compris que l'on pouvait faire cela seulement si la motion recueillait un consentement unanime. Je ne suis pas certain qu'on puisse le faire au moyen d'une motion faisant l'objet d'un vote par appel nominal. Je vais clarifier cela et on pourrait parler de cela à l'extérieur.

Personnellement, je vois cela comme un outil important s'il y a consentement unanime, mais je n'apprécierais pas vraiment que ce soit adopté par un vote normal.
