Mr. Speaker, I was not on that side of the House. I did not see or hear what happened. I only know that there was a subsequent debate that was, I will call it, interesting.

I think it is important that when we have a very serious debate, like the one we are having today, we keep partisanship out of it. I would appreciate all members being able to do that.

Monsieur le Président, je n'étais pas de ce côté-là de la Chambre. Je n'ai rien vu ni entendu. Je sais seulement qu'il y a eu par la suite un débat que je qualifierais d'intéressant.

À mon avis, quand nous avons un débat sérieux comme celui d'aujourd'hui, il importe de mettre de côté tout esprit partisan. Je serais reconnaissant à tous les députés de s'y efforcer.
