Mr. Speaker, I will try not to note too much irony in the member's comments while he is wearing an electronic earpiece, with an LED on his desk and a microphone. I should also note that this is televised, which is a technology that did not exist when this building burned down and was rebuilt.

Technology moves forward. I do not think that advancing to 1960s technology for clocks is too much to ask.

Monsieur le Président, je vais essayer de ne pas trop relever l'ironie dans les propos du député, qui porte un écouteur électronique, a un écran DEL sur son pupitre et utilise un microphone. Je devrais aussi mentionner que le débat est diffusé à la télévision, une technologie qui n'existait pas lorsque cet édifice a passé au feu et qu'il a été reconstruit.

La technologie évolue. Je ne pense pas que d'adopter la technologie des années 1960 pour les horloges, c'est trop demander.
