Mr. Speaker, I do not see how a new, redundant committee, in other words, a committee that would do the same work of existing committees, would change anything. It would create more red tape in our parliamentary system and would not change the situation.

Monsieur le Président, ce que je n'arrive pas à comprendre, c'est en quoi la création d'un nouveau comité redondant, c'est-à-dire un comité qui ferait le même travail que les comités existants, changerait quoi que ce soit. Cela créerait plus de lourdeurs administratives dans notre système parlementaire et ne changerait pas la situation.
