Government bills, Labour unions, Public Service and public servants, Third reading and adoption,

Fonction publique et fonctionnaires, Syndicats, Troisième lecture et adoption

Madam Speaker, if these bills were so important to the Conservative Party, why did it try to bring them in through the back door as private members' bills instead of introducing them as government bills during the last Parliament?

Madame la Présidente, si le Parti conservateur tenait tant à ces projets de loi, pourquoi est-il passé par la porte arrière en les présentant sous la forme de projets de loi d'initiative parlementaire plutôt que sous la forme de projets de loi du gouvernement, lors de la dernière législature?
