Mr. Speaker, I listened with some interest to the member's speech. There has been a lot of talk about which aspects of the broken immigration system we should fix first, and I am wondering if the member agrees that Bill C-6 is a really good place to start, given the enormous breakage that was left by the previous government.

Monsieur le Président, j'ai écouté avec intérêt le discours de la députée. On a beaucoup parlé de ce qu'il fallait corriger en premier dans les déficiences de l'actuel système d'immigration, et j'aimerais savoir si la députée est d'accord pour dire que le projet de loi C-6 est vraiment un bon début, compte tenu de l'énorme gâchis que nous a légué le gouvernement précédent.
