Mr. Speaker, earlier the member for Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan talked about how this law would change the rules mid-game. If we never change rules or bring things up to date, we end up with very weird situations. Things become outdated very quickly.

I am wondering if the member could talk about the importance of modernizing the rules around Air Canada, and any other part of the industry in this day and age.

Monsieur le Président, tout à l’heure, le député de Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan a dit que le projet de loi changerait les règles en cours de route. Si nous ne changeons pas les règles ou si nous ne mettons pas les choses à jour, nous nous retrouvons dans des situations très bizarres. Les choses deviennent très rapidement dépassées.

Le député pourrait-il parler de l’importance de la modernisation des règles qui encadrent Air Canada et tout autre élément de ce secteur, à l’heure actuelle?
