Mr. Speaker, very briefly, I want to congratulate the member on the milestone she achieved this week of being the longest-serving female member in the history of this House. I think it is a very important marker for her and I think she should be recognized for her 23 years of selfless service here.

She talked about the benefits of this budget for our country. I want to hear more about how it is going to help in her riding.

Monsieur le Président, j'aimerais prendre un instant pour féliciter la députée, qui a célébré cette semaine un événement marquant: elle siège à la Chambre depuis plus longtemps que toute autre femme députée de l'histoire du Canada. C'est tout un honneur. Je tiens à la féliciter pour ses 23 ans de service et de dévouement.

La députée a parlé des effets bénéfiques que ce budget aurait sur notre pays. Pourrait-elle me parler plus précisément de sa circonscription?
