Mr. Speaker, I really enjoyed reading my colleague's speech in yesterday's Hansard, because due to exceptional circumstances, I was not in the House to hear the end of the debate.

My colleague will vividly recall the controversy that erupted during the 41st Parliament surrounding Bill C-51. I wonder if he could share his thoughts on the impact of the bill in the current context.

Monsieur le Président, j'ai beaucoup apprécié la lecture du discours de mon collègue dans le hansard d'hier car, exceptionnellement, je n'étais pas présent à la Chambre pour entendre la fin du débat.

Mon collègue se rappellera très bien de la controverse qui a eu lieu lors du 41e Parlement au sujet du projet de loi C-51. J'aimerais qu'il me dise ce qu'il pense de la suite du projet de loi dans le contexte actuel.
