Accessibilité des handicapés, Aide gouvernementale, Égalité des chances, Questions orales,

Mr. Speaker, Canadians with disabilities face challenges every day that prevent them from fully participating in activities in their communities and in their workplaces.

We have a duty to reduce barriers to accessibility and provide equal access and equal opportunities for all Canadians. Everyone deserves a level playing field.

Can the minister tell the members of the House about the measures she has taken to reduce barriers to accessibility?

Monsieur le Président, les Canadiens ayant des limitations fonctionnelles relèvent chaque jour des défis qui les empêchent de participer pleinement aux activités de leur collectivité et en milieu de travail.

Nous nous devons de réduire ces obstacles à l'accessibilité et d'assurer un accès égal et des chances égales pour tous. Tout le monde mérite de pouvoir apporter sa participation sur des bases équitables.

La ministre peut-elle informer les députés de la Chambre des mesures mises en place afin de réduire les obstacles à l'accessibilité?
